Incidents of a slave girl was great story about the experience of slaves, however the ending was disappointing because she was not free to me. She still work and felt she had an obligation to do so in exchange for her freedom. Her entire life she wanted freedom and then she gets it and she chooses to work under the family that freed her. The use of sex gave the over sexuality of black women. However, it also showed that some black women would use it to try and get favors or freedom. She tried this and it back fired on her.
